Full-featured, digital benefits for analog systems
The AXIS 241 Video Server family enables analog video systems to easily migrate
to an IP-based solution with full-featured, digital surveillance benefits.
The AXIS 241Q and AXIS 241S Video Servers digitize analog video streams and
transmit them at full frame rate over an IP network, enabling remote viewing of
video in real time on a local area network or the Internet. The video servers
also provide built-in video motion detection and powerful event management
functions based on triggered or scheduled events. In addition, the products
offer a complete set of security features such as HTTPS, IP address filtering
and multi-level password protection.
The AXIS 241Q can connect up to four analog cameras and transmit digital video
from all four channels simultaneously via an Ethernet connection. The AXIS 241S
has one analog video input and one video loop-through port for an analog
monitor, in addition to an Ethernet connection.

(NTSC) frames per second on each channel
10 different resolutions up to 768 x 576, and 5 different compression levels

9 MB pre/post alarm memory per channel
Support for Pan/Tilt/Zoom devices, unloadable PTZ drivers
Advanced event handling with multiple ways of notification via e-mail, TCP and
HTTP, and video uploading via e-mail, FTP and HTTP
HTTP-based application programming interface (API) for integration with
applications
Image customization with text, time/date and image overlay
Support up to 20 simultaneous viewers
